I think everything has some visual and aesthetic value. I now see it as a game or challenge - can I extend an object’s value. It will after all remain a tail light no matter what I do, but let’s imagine.

The tail light is broken and I am sure I was driving the car when that happened. I think someone drove into our car as they were trying to park.

I guess what I am saying is that even a ‘broken’ object has value. 

In some way I was beginning to realize that the objects I was making were autobiographical.
