In 2006, Ed Burtynsky and Nichlas Metivier suggested we make a film about the Robotic Chair to use as a promotional device . They provided the funding. I had met Peter Lynch and appreached him to see if he might be interested in doing this film. He agreed. This film has and is the main documentary tool about the Chair. In working on this film we had many discussions about a variety of topics and what started to emerge was that many of our individual stories had to do with falling. These conversations started to take form and became the base from which we created a Short Film about Falling. This film is a series of scenes. The principal character in the film is the Robotic Chair. There are vignettes of Niagara Falls, several reenactments of childhood stories, a drummer. A real collage.
