A series of some 90 plus images

The series developed out of my desire to shift from making installations to something more portable. I started photographing objects I had in the studio, starting with the chair. The camera was set at a specific distance, the lighting and background remained constant. A sort of topology of objects in my studio was an interesting exercise but I felt it was lacking. It was only when I started performing the objects that I felt the photos were working. My criteria for a good photo in this series is that the photo has to be good enough such that I am prepared to give away the object. The photo has to convey what I feel and value in the object. The series became somewhat autobiographical.
