This was a wedding present for my wife Jean Blodgett. It is a calendar of the month we were married, July 1973. Each day is embroidered on a panel which makes a pocket. We were married on July 12th and this date is embroidered in red while the remaining 30 days are embroidered with black thread. There is a pink heart in the July 12th pocket and the phases of the moon each have a sewn moon phase in their respective pockets. For each anniversary I was to make an object and place it in the corresponding pocket.
