After graduating from U.B.C. in 1971, I went to work at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Not sure how the whole heart thing happened.  I think after so many years of being in school my brain just need a rest and I wanted to play. Plus I was in love and many of these heart works were made for Jean Blodgett.
