An interactive installation endeavored to connect the interior 5th floor gallery of the National Gallery with a kiosk located on the sidewalk below. Several video cameras and monitors allowed viewers in each location to gesture to each other. The viewers in the gallery space found themselves confined by three Ford Pinto automobiles which were activated by the viewers presence in the video area. On the street, viewers were confronted with a monitor of automobile traffic heading straight for the kiosk.
