I love the tactility of drawings. As a museum professional one of the great opportunities is to physically handle drawings, to hold them in your hands and to see them unframed and up close. I wanted to make a series of drawings that allowed the viewer to physically handle a drawing. This suite of drawings explores words and how though a variety of paper folds a word’s meaning can transform. The drawings are mounted on a sheet of metal and magnets are used to allow the viewer to touch and manipulate the drawing.
