Your Bubble was an interactive photo installation. Parked outside the Stephen Bulger Gallery on a wet Saturday afternoon pedestrians encountered a cube van that has been outfitted to be a photo studio. Willing participants climbed a set of stairs at the rear of the van to find themselves in a photo studio manned by one of the animatronic figures from Ontario Place. The photographer directed his subjects to stand in a designated place and continue wearing their covid masks. Once positioned a mechanism in the ceiling generated a large 24” soap bubble which once formed drifted down. As the bubble masked the subject’s head a photo was taken. The photo (4” x 6”) was then printed and given to the subject.
