Printed by David Umholtz at Moosehead Press in Winnipeg, this is one of several prints I made at Moosehead.

The work is a lithographic plate and a print made from that plate. Should the owner wish they would be able to pull more prints using the plate. I love the idea of providing the owner the opportunity to make or do something more than just looking at a work. Working at the Vancouver Art Gallery I realized how introspective the usual gallery experience is, you look at a work. It is in most cases a very quiet introspective moment. I wanted to challenge or expand that experience and engage the viewer in some way physically. Many of the interactive works pose a problem or question and provide a means for you to take a position. There is an aspect of agency involved.
